Labour's Story of mine, Haha, Born on 20th June 2011, 10.43pm!
Birth weight: 4.185Kg, Length: 51cm, Head: 38cm. C-Section.
Gestation Period: 37 weeks & 4 days. @ TMC.
Left-ed home early in the morning for my routine check up,
Cabbed to Yishun w Hubby as my gynae wasnt in SG.
Dr.Adrain Wood, My Gynae send me to his colleague,
Dr Lawrence Ang for scanning & Cervix check!
PS. Given another guy to check my Cervix! -.-
Counter ppls ain't friendly AT ALL!
Waited 3 hr! & Kept saying Dr.Ang's patients 1st!
Not on 1st come 1st basic + No number given.
At least like give us a timing we can go eat or whatsoever.
PUI!
Finally it's my turn, Didn't expected i'm gg to give birth today!
Doc say my cervix is 2cm alr, Did feel cramps previously.
I thought it was normal? ): Doc suggested C-section as Baby oversized!
Even if i don't Opt tonight, Within this few days will be out too!
I wanted a natural birth, I'm scare of cutting my tummy up!
I looked at hubby, he was shock i guess, No sound!
Estimated size 3.8kg, So we decided on C-sec!
No point painzxz then can't come out right?

Called Mum, Headed to NEX for Breakfast/Lunch Yoshinoya.
Aftr 3pm, No drinks. I at 2.59pm keep drink non-stop. Ha!
Went Supercuts my workplace for wash & blow.
1 Month couldnt wash my hair, I can't imagine.
Bid-goodbye to my colleague, Cab home & bath.
Dad drove Hubby & I to TMC. Admitt-ed @ 5pm. WAIT~
At conservation room monitoring my contraction!
Called Mum, Headed to NEX for Breakfast/Lunch Yoshinoya.
Aftr 3pm, No drinks. I at 2.59pm keep drink non-stop. Ha!

At conservation room monitoring my contraction!
They strap me up with Contraction Monitor~
Was having contraction at that moment,
Hubby went to do Paperwork, Admintion stuffs.
Was pushed to my room, given a clean clothing & caps to wear!
Chatting with hubby till the nurse came in & shaved my ....!! -.-
& Insert Centa Enema into my Anal Passage! PAIN &
Uncomfortable! Effective, I straight headed TOILET.
At about 10pm! 2 Nurse came to push me into the labour room!
SCARY. Hubby was given a Doc suit like that to changed.
They Poked a needle on my hand, Wasnt as bad as i tot.
& Into the Operation rm, Epidural jab was given.
Ard 10.30pm, Hubby was called into the room!
& Doc start to operate on me, I'm AWAKE!
But half body numbed! :D
Baby Kayson was out at 10.43PM! :D
LOUD CRYING! WA-WA-WA
First time holding my hand, (:
Hugging Kayson while the doctor are sewing up for me!
Painless, Maybe because of EPIDURAL~
SUPERD EFFECTIVE MANNNN!
The Dip on my hand, NO DRINK & FOODS.
HAHA, Hubby followed nurse out w Kayson.
While they push me back to my room.
Vomitted! Awful. Hubby was there to acc me thru out.
I'm so grats everything is over.
Confinement period starts for me! (:
The Moment i step down of bed is Terrible!
Confinement foods in TMC was Awesome! :D

ReplyDeleteI came across your blog when searching for birth story, i'm giving birth soon so wanna know what to expect haha. I'm also delivering at TMC. Got a couple of questions. 1) As for the Enema to make us go toilet, the brand is it Centa Enema or Fleet Enema? Coz i have constipation all these while. 2) Will the C-sect wound become lighter as time passes? Thanks for your help:)

DeleteSorry for the super late reply, I bet you have already given birth. It's Centa Enema, And C-sect wound for mine, there's still a deep scar left now. For stretch marks you can try Bio Oil.It's good! (:
